IDF says 2 rockets launched from Gaza, 1 intercepted by Iron Dome

The Israel Defense Forces says two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip at Israel a short while ago.

One of the projectiles was intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, while the other landed in an open area, causing no damage.

Sirens wailed in Ashkelon following the rocket launch, causing residents to rush to shelters.
