A Hamas operative who was advancing attacks was killed in an airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip overnight, the IDF says.

Throughout the war and recently, Muhanad Othman Yassin Farwana, a commander of a Hamas cell, had “advanced numerous terror attack plans against IDF troops and the State of Israel, and posed an immediate threat to IDF troops operating in the area,” the military says.

“The terrorist was eliminated in a precise aerial strike in order to remove the threat,” the military adds.
