The Israel Defense Forces says it carried out a series of strikes against Palestinian Islamic Jihad command centers in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Palestinian media reported a number of strikes against residential homes in Gaza.

The IDF says the headquarters are used by Islamic Jihad’s rocket array to plan and carry out attacks on Israel.

One of the command centers, struck in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, was used by Ahmed al-Hashash, who is the commander of Islamic Jihad’s rocket array in the area, the IDF says.

Yesterday, the IDF killed the chief of Islamic Jihad’s rocket array and his deputy in separate strikes.
