IDF strikes 2 high-rise towers in Gaza used to house Hamas assets; terror group threatens Tel Aviv

Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian is The Times of Israel's military correspondent.

The Israel Defense Forces says it carried out airstrikes against two high-rise towers in the Gaza Strip that were used to house Hamas assets.

“The Hamas terrorist organization deliberately places its military assets in the heart of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip,” the IDF says.

“Prior to the strike, the IDF provided advance warning to the occupants of the building and asked them to evacuate,” the military adds.

The Hamas terror group threatens to launch rockets at Tel Aviv in response to the IDF strikes on the towers.
