Iranian media says air defenses activated in Tehran, six other provinces
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTEHRAN, Iran — Iranian media says air defenses were activated over Tehran and six other provinces, on the second day of Israel’s air campaign against the Islamic Republic.
News agency Tasnim says air defenses were responding to “hostile targets” over Tehran and in the provinces of Hormozgan in the country’s south, Kermanshah and Lorestan in the west, Qom in the center, East Azerbaijan in the northwest, and Khuzestan in the southwest. State TV reports air defense activity in the same areas.

Tehran and the port of Bandar Abbas are under attack.
Reports are coming in about strikes on the Iranian South Pars Phase 14 gas processing plant — one of the largest natural gas extraction facilities in the world.
