Iran’s president calls for unity among Muslim states despite ongoing regional attacks

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian appeals for unity among Muslim countries, saying Iran has “no dispute” with its neighbors and warning that only Israel stands to benefit from divisions in the Islamic world.
In a post on X marking Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, Pezeshkian describes neighboring states as “brothers” and calls for greater cohesion.
The message comes despite Iran’s ongoing campaign of missile and drone attacks against Gulf states since the US-Israel war on Iran began on February 28. Tehran has claimed those strikes are aimed at US assets in the region.
