Israel starts procedure to revoke residency from truck attacker’s family

Israel has summoned 12 family members of the East Jerusalem terrorist who drove his truck into a crowd of soldiers, killing four, to begin procedures for stripping them of their residency status.

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri says that “we have to use every measure at our disposal as a deterrence,” according to Hebrew language media.

Deri thanks police and Interior Ministry workers for beginning the procedure so quickly.
