Israel to accept ceasefire if Hamas does, report says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli officials say Friday morning that if the Hamas leadership in Qatar accepts US Secretary of State John Kerry’s five-day ceasefire proposal, Israel will likely reciprocate and evaluate the group’s intention of carrying it out, Israel Radio reports.
If it rejects the truce, however, the IDF has been instructed to prepare for a significant expansion of its operations in the Gaza Strip, starting next week.
