Israel’s policy vis-a-vis the Russian invasion of Ukraine will not change following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s address to Knesset members this evening, senior Israeli sources tell Channel 12 news.

The unnamed sources say Israel will continue its diplomatic efforts to mediate between Ukraine and Russia because doing so serves the country’s interests, regardless of the results.

The network also quotes the sources saying Zelensky’s speech was meant to “divert the Israeli ship” in Kyiv’s direction, but failed to do so.
