‘Jihadi John’ ID’ed by free download
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on Google“Jihadi John” was identified by intelligence services as Mohammed Emwazi after he tried to download a free trial of web design software in Syria using his student code, the Sunday Express reports.
The code was linked to his name, age, date of birth, and study track at London’s Westminster University, the report says.
