Jill Stein files Pennsylvania recount request
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleGreen Party presidential candidate Jill Stein says a petition has been filed requesting a recount in the state of Pennsylvania.
“After a presidential election tarnished by the use of outdated and unreliable machines and accusations of irregularities and hacks, people of all political persuasions are asking if our election results are reliable. We must recount the votes so we can build trust in our election system,” Stein says in a statement, according to CNN.
Stein has raised more than $6 million to fund her efforts for a recount in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, three swing states all won by Trump on November 8.
