Joint List chief rushed to hospital after pain from kidney stone

Joint List leader Ayman Odeh has been rushed to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa after experiencing severe pain from a kidney stone, according to his spokesman.
The spokesman says Odeh “is currently undergoing the necessary tests while under sedation.”
Odeh is the second Joint List lawmaker to be hospitalized for kidney stones in recent weeks, following the predominantly Arab alliance’s No. 2, Ahmad Tibi.
MK Mansour Abbas, the head of the coalition’s Islamist Ra’am party, also underwent surgery earlier this year to have a kidney stone removed.
