Jordan says six missiles fired by Iran, four intercepted; no injuries

The Jordanian military says six Iranian missiles were launched at the kingdom, four of which were intercepted.
The two other missiles hit “remote uninhabited areas,” it says.
“Air defense systems detected six missiles launched from Iranian territory toward the kingdom and engaged them immediately upon their entry into Jordanian airspace,” a military source is cited by the official Petra news agency as saying.
There are no reports of injuries or damage in the attack.
Explosions had been heard in the Israeli Red Sea resort city of Eilat, which sits close to the Jordanian border, and two plumes of smoke could be seen from there in the direction of the Jordanian city of Aqaba.
