Man who fell in hole and firefighter who tried to rescue him both die of wounds

Medical officials have pronounced the death of a man who was critically hurt after falling into a hole in the northern village of Deir al-Asad, along with a firefighter who was wounded while trying to rescue him.
Another firefighter who was also injured remains in critical condition.
