Massive brawl breaks out at Holon waterpark after apparent argument; 12 said detained, park closed for day

An apparent argument erupted into a mass brawl at the Yamit 2000 waterpark in Holon, central Israel, resulting the the closure of the park for the day and the detention of 12 people.

Footage shows people throwing chairs and other large objects at each other across the waterpark, as people flee from the chaos.

According to Hebrew media reports, the brawl broke out after someone refused a request to turn down the music from their personal speaker.

Two security guards are reportedly injured as a result of the brawl, with police officers arriving on the scene to break up the fight after the park’s security staff could not.

Police reportedly detain 12 suspects in the incident.

The park has been closed for the day, according to reports.
