Mayim Bialik visits her father’s grave before Emmys
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleActress Mayim Bialik tells People magazine that she visited the grave of her father before the Emmy Awards ceremony om Sunday night.
Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on the popular sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” says she was going to the grave site of her father Narry, who died in April, because, she says, it is traditional to visit the graves of loved ones between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
“But it’s really nice because it gives perspective for everything we’re doing,” she says. “There are things so much bigger than anything that goes on [with the Emmys].”
