Ministers move to declare Eilat and Dead Sea ‘tourism islands’ amid pandemic
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMinisters decide to push for Eilat and the Dead Sea to be defined as “tourism islands” and given special conditions as the rest of the country slowly emerges from the latest lockdown.
The regions will be allowed to host tourists prior to the rest of the country, dependent on visitors presenting negative coronavirus tests.
The bill will now move to the Knesset.
