Most Americans oppose Syria strike
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEven though most Americans believe that the Assad government used chemical weapons on its own populace, a majority remain opposed to a US strike on Syrian military facilities in response, a CNN/ORC poll reveals.
According to the results, 80 percent of Americans think Syria used nerve gas, but 70% say a US strike would not achieve “significant goals” for the US and around the same number say “it’s not in the national interest” for the US to get directly involved in the Syrian civil war.
