Motorcyclist dies after car hits him in Tel Aviv

Doctors at Tel Aviv’s Ichilov hospital pronounce the death of a motorcyclist in his 40s who was involved earlier in a crash at the central Tel Aviv intersection of Namir Road and Einstein Street.

The hospital says media reports that the man was also shot before or after a car hit him are incorrect, with his body having no signs of bullet wounds.

Police are investigating, with some Hebrew media outlets still reporting — without citing sources — that the incident may have been a criminal underworld hit.
