Netanyahu’s testimony in criminal trial canceled due to ‘all-day security meetings’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s testimony in his criminal trial is canceled for today after his lawyer filed a request telling the Jerusalem District Court that the prime minister needed to attend a series of security and diplomatic meetings during the course of the day.
Netanyahu’s attorney says that the prime minister’s schedule is entirely full with such meetings “until the late hours of the night,” and filed a confidential copy of Netanyahu’s schedule for today with the court.
A hearing is still currently scheduled for tomorrow morning.
