Nigel Farage regains UK parliamentary seat, fights off Count Binface challenge

Nigel Farage, leader of Britain’s populist Reform UK party, regains his parliamentary seat in an election he triggered to bolster his position against allegations of financial impropriety.
Farage wins 22,239 votes in the southern English seaside resort of Clacton, beating his main challenger, Count Binface, a satirical character created by a comedian, who secured 9,455 votes, after the main political parties boycotted the contest.
