‘No new Egyptian initiative’ for truce — Hamas official
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAddressing the rumors that an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire will be announced later today, Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk says “there is no new Egyptian initiative on the table for a ceasefire in Gaza,” according to Army Radio.
It is unclear whether the Hamas official was saying that the present negotiations are based on an earlier Egyptian offer, or whether he was denying that the truce efforts have resumed.
