Palestinian injured on Gaza border dies of wounds
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Palestinian shot during violent protests and clashes on the Gaza border earlier this month dies of his wounds, the Palestinian health ministry says, bringing the total Palestinian death toll in the clashes since March 30 to 122.
Naji Ghonaim, 23, was wounded several days ago near Rafah in southern Gaza, the ministry says, without giving a specific date.
He was later transferred to Jerusalem for treatment but dies Wednesday morning, the Ramallah-based ministry says in a statement.
Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry also confirms Ghonaim’s death.
