Police chief: We showed ‘too much restraint’ on Temple Mount

Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai says his officers showed “too much restraint” in responding to the Palestinian rioters on the Temple Mount.

He says Israel will toughen its policy vis-a-vis the “law-breakers” in the coming days.

He makes the comments in an interview with Channel 12, hours after over 300 Palestinians and 21 cops were hurt in violent clashes at the Jerusalem holy site.

Israel is getting ready to “take the gloves off,” says the police chief.
