Police fatally shot Ibtin resident, reportedly after he opened fire on a house in the village

Israel Police officers fatally shot a resident of Ibtin, a Bedouin village in northern Israel, earlier tonight, Hebrew-language media reports.

Magen David Adom had said that a man in his 30s was shot and killed in the village, but did not provide any additional details.

The Ynet news outlet reports, however, that officers shot and killed the man after he was seen firing a weapon in the direction of a house in the village.
