‘Reasonable’ ceasefire proposal likely to be backed by ministers — Peri
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIf a reasonable ceasefire proposal is presented to the security cabinet, the majority of ministers will back it, Science and Technology Minister Yaakov Peri tells Israel Radio, and does not elaborate.
Peri, who is a member of the eight-person high-level cabinet, tasked with guiding Israel’s war effort, adds that the military stage in the Gaza campaign must be followed by a diplomatic solution.
