Report: Hamas kept residents away from targeted area after Abu Obeida’s killing

A Palestinian source tells Sky News Arabia, broadcasting from the UAE, that after the reported Israeli assassination of Abu Obeida, the spokesman for Hamas’s military wing, fighters from the terror group sealed off the bombed area, keeping residents away, so that they could recover the bodies of those killed in the strike.
The source adds that the apartment targeted in the attack yesterday had been rented by Abu Obeida and his family only a few days earlier, and that his wife and children were inside the apartment with him at the time of the strike.
The report does not mention whether Abu Obeida’s entire family was killed, but footage of the destruction and the number of casualties reported yesterday indicate that it is likely.
