WASHINGTON — US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has wrapped up a meeting with visiting Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Thani at the State Department during which the sides reaffirmed their partnership and discussed opportunities to deepen bilateral ties, a thin-detailed US readout says.
The meeting was the seventh convening of the US-Qatar Strategic Dialogue.
Al Thani met yesterday with US lawmakers on Capitol Hill before having dinner with Vice President JD Vance, a source familiar with the matter says.
