US treasurer Lew in town for talks on Iran sanctions
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMonths after Israel and the US signed a massive defense aid deal, Treasurer Jack Lew is visiting the country for talks.
Lew held discussions with Israeli officials on the Iran nuclear deal and sanctions that remain in place, among other topics, US Ambassador Dan Shapiro says.
“It may be his last visit to Israel in his current job, and I have appreciated his friendship and his steadfast commitment to close US-Israel ties,” Shapiro writes.
