Woman who collapsed at outdoor rave dies of heatstroke
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe 20-year-old woman who collapsed at an outdoor rave last week has died, according to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
The woman was found unconscious early Saturday morning in a wooded area near the Goral Junction and was hospitalized in critical condition.
The hospital says the woman suffered irreversible brain damage due to heatstroke.
Doctors add that no alcohol or drugs were found in her system.
Police have arrested several organizers of the event and are investigating the incident.
