Man killed when truck collides with his parked car in northern Israel
Truck driver hospitalized with light injuries; death toll on Israel’s roads in 2022 at 310, according to latest figures

A 60-year-old man was killed when a truck collided with his parked car along Route 77, near the Kidmat Galil Industrial park in northern Israel on Monday, rescue workers and medics said.
Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene found the driver inside his crushed car without vital signs. They were forced to declare the man dead after failing to resuscitate him, according to a statement.
The truck driver sustained light injuries and was taken to Poriya Hospital in Tiberias.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately clear.
According to the most recent data released by Israel’s National Road Safety Authority, there were 310 people killed on Israel’s roads since the start of 2022.
