Man, 79, and his wife, 69, found shot dead in their home in central region city of Kfar Yona; initial investigation said to point at murder-suicide

An elderly couple was found shot dead in their home in Kfar Yona Tuesday evening in what police believe was an incident of murder-suicide.
An initial investigation into their deaths found that the woman was planning on leaving her husband in the coming days, police said.
Neighbors in the central region city alerted police and the couple’s family after hearing shots fired.
When their son arrived he found them in separate rooms in the home, police said.
They were declared dead at the scene.
The gun used in the shooting was licensed and held legally.
