PA leader signs €10 million aid deal with French foreign minister

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas will meet Friday with newly installed French President Francois Hollande in Paris.

Abbas met Thursday with Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and signed an agreement whereby France will transfer €10 million in aid to the PA in the coming few days.

Fabius said the assistance France is providing indicates the level of confidence Paris has in the PA and in the reforms it has enacted​​.
