A bag containing an explosive device was uncovered Saturday by a farmer who took his cows out to graze in a field near the northern town of Metulla, near the Lebanese border.
The farmer alerted the police, who arrived at the scene a short while later, according to the Walla news site.
Police investigators launched an investigation into the incident.
