Hamas police in the Gaza Strip banned on Sunday public concerts and the use of loudspeakers until the end of the high school exam period, Paltoday News reported.

Preparations to provide a secure and appropriate atmosphere for high school students have been completed, spokesman Maj. Ayman Batniji said on Sunday.

He said that the police and Education Ministry aim to maintain order and security throughout the Strip, and that they have succeeded in previous years to prevent chaos and maintain proper conduct.
