A 30-year-old man drowned in the Sea of Galilee under unknown circumstances very early Thursday morning. Police said that no criminal activity was suspected in the incident.
The man evidently entered the water along the Tiberias boardwalk a little before 1 a.m. and did not return. A friend alerted the police, and the body was found at around 5 a.m. by a police search team and recovered by ZAKA divers.
