No cold tap water to beat the Tiberias heat

Health Ministry instructs residents to boil water due to dangerous bacteria levels

Despite an outside temperature that soared to 33° C (91° F), Tiberias residents were instructed on Wednesday to boil their water before drinking it due to a bacterial infestation.

The Health Ministry warned residents that bacterial levels were dangerously high and that they should boil water before drinking it until further notice.

Showering and washing hands, however, was safe despite the water’s microbial content.
