Thirty-eight people were arrested for drug dealing in Jerusalem, the police revealed Tuesday afternoon. All 38 were ensnared by a policeman working undercover, and were brought before a court to have their remand extended.

The 23-year-old policeman spent the past year getting to know the dealers, and purchasing drugs for a total of over NIS 250,000 over the period.

After the investigation was complete and the cases were prepared by the prosecution, the police raided the homes of the drug dealers around the capital. Large amounts of cash were found, and cars were confiscated by the police.
