Polish opposition party activist suspended for anti-Semitic post
Faction leader — a former prime minister — may permanently bar Artur Nicpon for telling Jews to leave country
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWARSAW, Poland (JTA) — Polish Law and Justice Party activist Artur Nicpon was suspended from the party after he published an anti-Semitic post on his website.
“As they [Jews] going here and harm Poland and me, I have only one thing for them – get the f**k out!” Nicpon wrote on his website. In the next post he wondered about the possibility of a referendum on the shooting of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, a former Polish prime minister and president of the Law and Justice Party, the main opposition party, said that such posts are not permitted, and on Thursday decided to suspend Nicpon. The next step may be to permanently bar him from the party.
