Two Kassam rockets were fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip Friday evening, the IDF spokesman’s office reported. According to initial reports, the rockets fell in open areas. Nobody was injured and no damage was reported.

Rockets have been fired on Israel’s south intermittently over the past week, including five last weekend, one on Tuesday, four on Thursday and four early Friday morning.

Last Friday, the air force engaged in a retaliatory air strike, reporting on direct hits to all its targets.
