In the upcoming third season of the award-winning Israeli drama “Tehran,” actor Hugh Laurie will play Eric Peterson, a nuclear plant supervisor acting alongside Niv Sultan, who plays lead character, Mossad spy Tamar Rabinyan.
The second season of the Kan 11 and Apple TV+ drama about a group of Israeli Mossad operatives in the Iranian city brought veteran actor Glenn Close into the tense storyline.
Laurie is known for his long-standing role of Dr. Gregory House from 2004 to 2012 on the Fox medical drama series “House,” as well as Senator Tom James in the HBO sitcom “Veep” (2012–2019), for which he received his tenth Emmy Award nomination.
Other new actors appearing in this latest season of “Tehran” are Sasson Gabbai and Phoenix Raei.
Filming has begun on the new season. It will be released on Kan 11 and Apple TV+.
