2 Haredi protesters wounded, including 93-year-old, after being hit by cars driving through crowds

A 93-year-old man has been injured by a driver who slammed into a crowd of Haredi protesters at Geha Junction near Bnei Brak, as demonstrations continue to disrupt traffic throughout the country.
Medics say the elderly man suffered a head injury and is currently in moderate to serious condition. He is being taken to the hospital from the scene of the protest on Route 4.

According to Channel 12, the suspected perpetrator of the hit-and-run claims she was mobbed and cursed by the protesters, who threw stones at her car. Attempting to flee, the driver stepped on the gas and accelerated into the crowd of protesters, injuring the man.
She continued on her way until reaching a police checkpoint on the road where she stopped and admitted to having tore through the crowd. She is currently being questioned by Tel Aviv District police investigators, the outlet says.
Further south down the highway at Ganot Junction, medics say a young man has been moderately injured after a car crashed into him.
Police have not yet commented on the second incident.
