200 Magen David Adom volunteers attend wedding

Some 200 volunteers for the Magen David Adom ambulance service attend the wedding of Sarah Tehiya Litman and Ariel Biegel.

Netanel Litman, 18, who was killed in the November 13 terror attack, was a MDA volunteer. Some of his friends are among the attendees.

“I felt compelled to come to bring joy to the wedding,” Avishai Shapira, a friend of Netanel’s, says. “The feeling is mixed. On the one hand, there is a great sadness and everything is still fresh, but on the other hand, there is the happiness of this wedding, which is a happy and moving moment. And today, I feel like I need to leave the sadness aside and make the bride and groom and family happy at this important event.”
