Ahead of Quds Day, Iranian FM brands Israel ‘an apartheid regime’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif brands Israel “an apartheid regime” in a tweet ahead of Quds Day, which Iran and its proxies have marked since the 1979 Islamic Revolution to protest the Jewish state’s existence.
“Palestine is a yardstick for justice. Few measure up. But Iran has proudly stood with Palestinian people — who resist the brutality of an apartheid regime #QudsDay is yearly reminder of moral imperative of global solidarity for Palestine,” Zarif writes on Twitter.
