Arab-majority Hadash party condemns strikes on Iran, could lead to global war

The Arab-majority Hadash party condemns the joint Israeli-American attack on Iran, warning in a statement that it “could lead to the ignition of a large-scale, regional and global war.”
The party alleges that “Israel is not only a tool in the hands of global American imperialism, but also a full partner in it and in its ambitions to tighten American imperialist control over the world, its natural and economic resources and wealth, and to subordinate all regimes to the American will and its economic calculations.”
The party also slams “the danger of the almost complete consensus in the government and the main Israeli opposition” regarding the operation and “warns against exploiting public opinion’s preoccupation with this war, in order to increase the massacres and crimes of ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.”
Hadash calls on members of the public “to raise their voices against Israeli-American aggression” and the removal of American bases and nuclear weapons from the Middle East.
