Prime Minister Naftali Bennett gives the go-ahead for Israel to consider seeking international assistance to help battle a large wildfire raging outside Jerusalem.

A statement from Bennett’s office says he instructed the Defense Ministry and military to provide any necessary help and to consider if the Israeli Air Force has additional tools that can be utilized.

“The prime minister again stressed that it is of supreme importance to save lives and therefore will not hesitate regarding the evacuation of communities and people… and will evacuate everyone,” the Prime Minister’s Office says.
