Bennett meeting with health officials said to end with no decision on new restrictions

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s meeting with Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz and senior Health Ministry officials has reportedly ended without a decision on new restrictions to curb the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

The meeting was expected to deal with proposals to impose significant restrictions on large crowds and to expand the Green Pass system to the entire commerce sector.

Horovitz was expected to demand that any new restrictions be conditioned on the provision of compensation to businesses, Channel 12 news reports.
