Joe Biden is holding a surprising lead of 49.8% to 48.7% over Donald Trump in Texas, with over 60 percent reporting. The state is seen as one of the most solidly Republican, but a growth explosion in urban areas has made it increasingly blue in recent years.
He also continues to hold a large lead in Pennsylvania, 67% to 32% with 14 percent reporting.
In Ohio, Biden is up 54% to 45%, with 56% of votes counted.
In Virginia, Trump holds a large lead, but is projected to lose. CNN notes that most votes in Fairfax County, a liberal suburb of Washington, DC, have not been counted.
In Michigan, Trump is up 57% to 41% with 14% reporting.
