Bombs, Islamic State flags found in car used by Bondi Beach terrorists — Australian cops

A vehicle used by the father-and-son Bondi Beach terrorists contained two Islamic State flags as well as bombs, Australian police say, with federal police commissioner Krissy Barrett calling the massacre at a Hanukkah event “a terrorist attack inspired by Islamic State.”
The vehicle found near the Sydney beach was registered to the son, and it contained “two homemade ISIS flags” in addition to improvised explosive devices, New South Wales Police commissioner Mal Lanyon tells reporters.
Australian police also say the the two traveled to the Philippines last month, and that the reasons for their trip are under investigation.
