Crude oil tanker damaged by projectile off Oman’s coast, security sources say
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Marshall Islands-flagged crude oil tanker was hit by a projectile off the coast of Oman while sailing with cargo, two maritime security sources say.
The vessel was hit some 44.4 nautical miles northwest of Muscat, one of the sources says.
One of the vessel’s managers, listed in databases as leading commercial ship management group V Ships, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
